Medication/Treatment Cost VS Prevention Cost, which is more expensive?

Good Weds afternoon :)

Feel blessed that able to have a fruitful learning from Dr.Chen on 10th March 2018, together with my family, my biz partners and friends :)

Let's see what have they learnt :)

Among the topics shared by Dr.Chen are the different types of cancers, causes and prevention.

Dr.Chen also shared on the cost of the most recent cancer treatment also - $475,000 per therapy!

Once again, treatment cost vs prevention cost, which is more expensive? and which is more effective?

We get to enjoy qulity lifestyle so desire by taking good care of our body, but can a patient still enjoying their lifestyle when they are reaching the stage where they need to go for the $475,000 therapy?

Do you agree that money can't buy back health, Health is through a wisdom, through a lifestyle?

And one other interesting topic is on the different type of stem cells and the dangers of misusing stem cells.

Dr.Chen also shared whether it is necessary or not to store our baby's cord blood, especially for us here in SG where private cord blood bank is available.

Feel blessed that with the correct health knowledge in life, we not only have the knowledge use our money wisely, not be influenced by marketing gimmicks and more importantly, the wisdom to safeguard our health.

Come and join me on the 18th August 2018 Saturday for an English session of A Date With Dr.Chen.

Is Cetaphil safe?

Recently a friend of mine asking me on the opinion of using Cetaphil. It was in fact recommendation from her PD to solve her gal's skin rashes problem.

So I just pop into Watson to check on the ingredients.

I saw a big red sticker on top, apparently it is No.1 Dermatological Skin Care brand in SG, not too surprise to me as it is commonly recommended by PD or skin doctor.

However after i zoom into the ingredients, to my surprise one of the ingredients is SLS.

What is SLS? Why it shouldn't exist in any skin care products?

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is a surfactant. A surfactant is a chemical that stabilizes mixtures of oil and water by reducing the surface tension at the interface between the oil and water molecules. Because water and oil do not dissolve in each other a surfactant has to be added to the mixture to keep it from separating into layers. Surfactants provide one or more of six functions:

- Detergents - for cleansing
- Wetting agents - in perms
- Foaming agents - for shampoos
- Emulsifiers - in creams and lotions
- Conditioning agents - in skin and hair-care products
- Solubilizers - for perfumes and flavors

SLS has some toxicity. However, it is the most widely used surfactant in the industry and is approved for use by all regulatory agencies.  It's even approved for use in baby products.

Hence it is important to be a wise consumer not only in choosing food, but also our skin care products.

How to choose a SAFE toiletries?

https://nutritionalimmunologylifestyle.blogspot.sg/2018/02/38-out-of-60-shampoos-found-to-contain.html

At the same time I feel blessed that am able to offer her a solution by sharing with her my choice.

Why Elemente ?

100% soap free
Undergone skin sensitivity test
NO harmful chemical eg. SLS, Triclosan n etc

Be a wise consumer not only in choosing food, but on our personal care toiletries too.

Because toxic cancer causing (carcinogenic) chemicals is everywhere - from the air we breathe, the food we eat and the personal care toiletries we use on our hair, skin, and in our mouth. They may be contributing to the spiralling rate of cancer and metabolic disease whilst speeding up aging process too.

Feel free to contact me to find out more on how to be wise in choosing both health food & personal care products.
