How packing more protein in tofu can help Ah Ma age better?

Came across this news article which caught my attention:


Can packing more synthetic protein in our daily diet helps?


While people in SG enjoy longer life expectancy, however they have more unhealthy years too.


According to the research, one of the reason is half of Singaporean here aged 50 years and older, are NOT GETTING ENOUGH PROTEIN, as a result spend 10.6 years of their lives in ill health, lose their mobility and etc.


However, what is the next move from government?

## Adding protein into daily food is easiest way to get older people to eat enough protein to maintain their muscle and bone mass as they age. It would be a harder task to get them to switch diets, as the habits of a lifetime are difficult to change##

Adding more proteins into our daily food eg tofu?

Is this going to solve the problem or create another issue?

Just like adding flourides into our drinking water & folic acid into flour?

Do you know flouride is neurotoxins & folic acid accelerate Colon cancer when we aged?

Likewise, i have seen few high protein ice cream in the market recently too, they added in Whey protein in the ice- cream to make it so called healthier as lower carb.
